Life throwing lemons at you? No worries, toss 'em in the tub and soak away the stress. The warm water from taking baths, relaxes muscles, while the soothing scent and bubbles trigger a release of feel-good hormones, whisking away stress and leaving you in a state of bliss. The next time you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders, drop everything you're doing and run a bath.



2. Adulting is Overrated.

Adulting is hard—bills, responsibilities, the kids screaming "mommy!" every five minutes... Trust me, I've been there. But you know what's not hard? Drawing a warm bath, throwing in some bubbles, and just sitting there. For hours (like me!) Or at least thirty minutes to re-center yourself.

Ever catch yourself having the most creative thoughts while soaking in a sea of bubbles? It's as if your brain goes into creative over drive. 10 Tips for a Successful Bath.


1. Set the Mood with Lighting.

Opt for soft, dim lighting with candles. The gentle glow will create a calm vibe.


2. Choose Your Scents.

Pick soothing scents like lavender, chamomile, or eucalyptus. Essential oils, bath bombs, or bath salts can also add an aromatic touch.


3. Create a Playlist.

Create a playlist of your favorite songs. I usually go for 90's R&B to put me in a really loving mood.


4. Temperature Matters.

Find the sweet spot for water temperature. Not too hot to avoid discomfort, but warm enough to relax your muscles.


5. Use Natural Ingredients.

Sprinkle natural ingredients like honey, oats, or milk in your bath to make sure it's nourishing and skin-friendly.


6. Invest in Comfort.

Grab a neck pillow for when you're in the tub & a cozy towel or robe for when you get out the tub. Comfort is everything!


7. Unplug and Disconnect.

Leave the phone and other electronic devices outside the bathroom. This is your time to unwind without distractions or social media!


8. Pour Up.

Have a refreshing drink nearby. A glass of water or herbal tea will keep you hydrated during your soak. Sometimes I even bring in a bottle of wine.


9. Bring in a Good Book.

Practice mindful breathing to enhance relaxation. Inhale deeply, exhale slowly, and let go of any tension.
